Conrad Grebel University College - Kitchen & Dinning Room Expansion

This project compiles both a renovation and expansion of the existing dinning room and kitchen. The expansion will move the existing kitchen outside along the west wall and allow for a renovation and expansion of the existing dinning room:
1. Kitchen Addition & Renovation:
The kitchen addition will be moved out of the exiting building and along the west wall increasing the square footage from 2,800 square feet to 3,825 square feet. This addition will also triple the preexisting servery size from 400 square feet to 1200 square feet. Overall the kitchen addition will increase the size by 30%.
2. Dinning Room Expansion & Renovation:Â
The dinning room will expand into the area where the kitchen used to exist. The size of the kitchen will increase by 45% from 3,900 square feet to 7,250 square feet. This will allow for up to 300 people to sit and dine, while also creating a private dinning area for special events. Click on a picture below to see a larger view.
