This project consisted of converting a loading dock and storage facility, once used for Weston Bakery, into a hi tech research and development facility. The project started with the shoring of the existing roof system and lowering of the existing floor creating an additional 8,000sf of 2nd floor space bringing total area of finished area to 33,500sf. The final building contained some of the highest level of finishes found in today's construction. Although LEED certification was not sought after, the principles of environmentally friendly construction were maintained throughout the design & construction phase of the project.
