Wingham District Hospital

This project includes a full facility improvement plan and major redevelopments of several hospital departments including oncology, pharmacy, the team nursing station, outpatient clinic, sterilization, and operating suites.

Due to the immense size, complexity, and scope of this project. It had to be broken down into multiple phases. Each phase was broken down per each level of the hospital - level 1, level 2, and level 3. As the project progresses and changes in scope occur, the schedule must adapt as well. To adapt to these changes each level phase has addition phases added to them to ensure that proper tracking and coordination is taken, and nothing falls behind.

Due to the nature of the project and being in a hospital environment, all necessary precautions have been taken – particularly in infectious control. This ensures that the project has a positive impact on the facility improvements after we have completed the renovations, rather a lasting negative impact because of the renovations.

This project is estimated to be complete in 2020.
